The Anticancer Fund (ACF), a Belgian non-profit organization, sought to improve the management of patient requests for scientific advice through its My Cancer Navigator (MCN) service. To achieve this, Atracore developed a centralized electronic platform that streamlines the collection of patient medical information and scientific literature, ensuring evidence-based guidance for cancer patients.
The ACF Patient Dossier Platform features a user-friendly, standalone interface accessible in three languages (Dutch, French, and English). It enables patients or their representatives to submit requests, which are then processed through a structured workflow involving physicians, research managers, and other ACF team members. The system ensures that patient inquiries are reviewed, relevant scientific research is gathered, and personalized feedback is provided.
Launched in September 2022, the platform has since recorded over 380 patient dossiers and is actively used by more than 280 individuals. By reducing paperwork, minimizing data loss, and consolidating information for better management reporting, the system has improved efficiency, enhanced patient support, and provided 24/7 accessibility for information sharing and request tracking.
